I'm going to sort out all my impressions of people, because  I have a lot of new friends and love them all, but in very different ways. and just because someone isn't on here doesn't mean we're not friends, it means nothings new, or i haven't figured them out yet.

Tran- bestie! we just connect, its incredibly easy to talk to David. He gets so excited about things and I adore it. Plus I don't have to monitor myself in front of him, he just gets me.
Austin- another amazing person. our views on some things are so similar, and even if they aren't we can talk about it anyway, and talk we do, for hours sometimes. It's great to have a person to talk through things with that i know won't judge or tell anyone else. it's hard to go even a day without his compliments (you're gonna get fucked tonight!).
Andrew- A.Kim, funny kid. It's also really easy to talk to Andrew, and he's so much fun (when he isn't being a complete downer). we end up eating together a lot, haha.
John- johns a great guy, and really fun and funny when he wants to be.
Kayla- best thing ever! we have so much in common and I love hanging out with her. she is always ready to have fun, and so am I, so it's perfect! plus it's really nice to have another girl, haha.

College, College, College Baby

So my first week of college has been...eventful to say the least. (I'm going to do this in list form)
Move-in Day:
-really easy
-hot, hot, hot
-so cute
-so tired
Rush Day One:
-up at 4:30
-visit 11 houses in blazing sun with practically no breaks
-move-in day for everyone else, went to see Zach and John, met new friend numba one Andrew
Rush Day Two:
-short day
-6 houses
-met nf 2 and 3, my rush girls Ashley and Sarah
-went to walmart with Zach,  john, and Andrew
Rush Day Three:
-started thinking about not rushing anymore
-long, gross day
-super hot (110 heat index) then crazy storm
-started getting sick
Rush Day Four:
-dropped out of rush, made nf 4 my gamma chi Whitley
-went to breakfast with Zach and john
-met Andrew, nf 5 David Tran, and nf 6 Austin
-went to target (needed dayquil for my cold)
-went to target, evc, downtown to junkmans and a crepes place (yum)
-started to feel really sick, had fun being the only girl
-went to john's sisters party, then to see Scott Pilgrim (really good BTW)
-made Zach drive me back home, crashed
Today:
-woke up, felt better
-walked to house, felt sick
-ate hashbrowns with ketchup for breakfast (this will come back to haunt me)
-started feeling sick
-called Jayme to drive me to the health center
-Jayme ran a red light
-threw up breakfast in health center parking lot
-got meds and dietary restraints (it was a cold and dehydration)
-went home and slept/ate saltines
-Zach, Austin, Amara, Kayla came over to visit, played presidents (Zach sucks) (sorry if you're reading this..) they brought brownies! yum. also brought Kayla yummy food i couldn't eat. :(
-dorm meeting, thinking about getting really involved in dorm activities
-sleep and prepare for first day of classes!

p.s.- i love and miss my besties (you know who you are) so much, and hope they're having wonderful times (even you Katy bear, i don't know why, but i always want to call you that)

this morning i went in for a doctor's appointment and found out quickly that i was behind on my shots. great. so i got my tetanus shot and my first gardasil shot. now it feels like someone punched me in the arm. hard. actually its more like someone hit me with a baseball bat. hard. :(

Another Fun Day

I love re-living a really good day.
Today was what is quickly becoming a normal Monday, which i love.
So I woke up early, put on my brand new yoga shorts and got to it.
I love my yoga studio, Yoga Moga. Yoga makes me feel so relaxed. It's surprisingly challenging, but after a few tough poses you relax and feel so accomplished.

The studio, beautiful is it not? so this was my third class. I discovered i could do a full lotus, which is supposed to be hard. We worked on our cores and I almost passed out. That makes it an excellent class. Afterwards you just feel like you're floating on air. Bliss.
After Yoga we went to Dolce Vita, to have the best bruschetta and cafe salad ever. yummy.

After lunch we went to pool! narrowly missing t, :(

But tomorrow is our groups girls breakfast! We get together a couple times a year or so and wear our pajamas and talk about girly stuff and usually watch a girly movie after.

Summer Heat Baby

It's hot in Georgia, I understand that. Today the heat index was 111 degrees, I get it, that's hot. But I still can not understand when people say they hate the summer. Of course I was born in June and have always hated being cold. But it goes deeper than that. Yesterday I sat on my front porch and I drank my Izzie and waited on the UPS truck and it was one of the best afternoons I've had in a while. Stepping out in the sun makes me so happy, literal shivers run up and down my spine,  I smile involuntarily the world is better. Its like an affirmation that there's good in the world, that you can be happy for absolutely no reason. So I was. And it was divine.

Sooo, one of my friends, K (i'm gonna do names gossip girl style) loves to send pictures with her phone. Love it! (thats also something she says a lot) Because she is always hanging with Z (shown above) she sends me pictures of him. So I have tons of creepy pictures of Z in different places...for example, at the aqarium, playing guitar, sitting next to me at a party, etc. So I believe this shirtless picture finishes off my collection quite nicely. Don't you agree?

The title of this blog was inspired by Ingrid Michaelson and her lovely song, Take Me The Way I Am.
If I could have anything in the world, I would want the kind of devotion so perfectly described in this song. Songs like this I play over and over and over and wish that they could ever describe my life. Another example:

But this blog isn't about that. Its about me, and my friends, my life, my experiences, everything that makes life good and fun and interesting. Which is why I'm going to attempt to post a picture a day at least for an entire year. Pictures can say things where words can't. Pictures can show what's important to a person, or their sense of humor. So I'm letting everybody get a glimpse in my head.
